Just boarded my Southwest flight, which is on a brand new 737-800. The plane is SWEET and the contrast with last week’s American Airlines flight couldn’t be more stark. Checking my bag was free, the boarding process has been swift and sensible, we’re going to leave on time, and the plane is, dare I say it, COMFORTABLE. I swear from now on I will pay a LOT extra to be on either JetBlue or Southwest. It’s a completely different, and much more pleasant, experience.
